Volsun  Heat Shrinkable Tubing for Bus BarMPRS Series is designed for insulation rectangular, square and round bus bar rated from 1KV through 35KV. It will also cover and insulate inline bolted connections of rectangular bus bars. The tubing meets the requirements of ANSI/IEEE Standard C37.20. The standard tubing lengths are 20 feet (6.1mm) and 50 feet (15.2mm).

Volsun Heat Shrinkable Tubing for Bus Bar is made of a specially formulated cross-linked polyolefin. The tubing is colored red/green/yellow. The material has high resistance to splitting, good solvent resistant and excellent tracking resistance properties. The tubing shrinks easily with industry standard methods, forming an aesthetically appealing insulation cover.

For guidance only, the user should always determine the optimum size. The maximum wall thickness is only achieved as a result of full recovery in air. The actual wall thickness will vary depending on the size of the bus bar profile.
