I believe everyone is familiar with heat shrink tube.Many people may not know the cold shrink tube. In fact, cold shrink tube are named relative to heat shrink tube. A kind of tube that can be shrunk without heating and pulling a support core is called cold shrink tube. Today, let's take a look at the use process of cold shrink tube.

Prepare the silicone rubber cold shrink tube material in advance. The inner diameter of the cold shrink tube must be slightly larger than the inner diameter of the thick cable to be coated, so that the thick cable can be tightly wrapped when shrunk. And the high shrinkage range can also be tightly wrapped by the thin cable.

Pass the cable and cold shrink tube through the aligned position of the product to be covered with one hand and use the other hand to gently pull down the inner white supporting core to shrink it quickly and completely cover the area to be protected.

Pulling make it shrink completely and quickly. It is more suitable for high-altitude operations and places that do not require live operations. Generally used for radio frequency feeders, 1/2 N type, 7/8 jumpers and coaxial cables of communication base stations. It has permanent radial shrinkage,outdoor aging resistance,corrosion resistance,sealing and waterproofing,radiation resistance, and expansion rate of more than 4 times. It is suitable for connection and sealing performance of different diameters, which is unmatched by heat shrinkable tube.

However, the outer diameter of the thick cable and the thin cable should be considered. The outer diameter of the thick cable is larger than the outer diameter of the thin cable, and the outer diameter of the thin cable after shrinking is smaller than the outer diameter of the thin cable to meet the applicable scope of the cable. When pulling, do not reverse the direction, aim at the position to be protected and operate normally.
