The mastic cold shrink tube is open-ended and has waterproof mastic inside. The tube is factory pre-expanded and assembled onto a removable plastic supporting core.The supporting core will be removed when the tube is positioned for installation over an online connection or termination lug. The mastic at both ends provides excellent moisture-tight seals for cable termination and joints.
