The introduction of telecommunication Antenna
Time: 2020-02-29 11:58:05     Copyfrom: SuZhou Volsun Electronics Technology Co.,Ltd.

What is an antenna?
An antenna is a transformer that transforms a guided wave propagating on a transmission line into an electromagnetic wave propagating in an unbounded medium (usually free space), or vice versa. A component used in radio equipment to transmit or receive electromagnetic waves.

Simply speaking,an antenna is a device used to radiate and receive radio waves in radio equipment.

So what does the antenna do?

First of all, from the definition of the antenna, it is as that it is mainly a device that radiates and receives radio waves. However, the general radiated and received radio waves cannot be transmitted by the feeder. It must undergo a certain conversion to convert radio waves (free electromagnetic waves) and high frequency current or guided wave (also an energy) mutual conversion is also the main role of the antenna. So the antenna is not only a device for radiating and receiving radio waves, but also an energy conversion device.

What is a base station communication antenna?

With the application and development of mobile communication, more and more antennas are used in this industry, so the antennas used in this mobile communication industry are called communication antennas, and the antenna on the communication base station is the base station communication antenna.
