When referring to Adhesive-lined heat shrink sleeve, we know it has glue inside of the tube which is sealing and waterproof.

If you need to put wire and cable under the water, our heat shrink sleeve is the best choice.

Last week our Germany customer sent me a new project inquiry, they need heat shrink sleeve for protecting cladded glass rod. We know glass rod surface is very smooth, and adhesive can play a strong role of fastening.

My customer said “I need 0.4 - 0.6mm wall thickness after shrinkage. Better 0.4mm and adhesion on glass rod has to be super strong, glass rod is 2.5mm or 3.0mm and has a smooth surface.”

Then we choose ID 4.8mm Adhesive-lined heat shrink sleeve for customer. After initial and second testing, our sleeve is 100% suitable for cladded glass rod.
