China has built 916,000 5G base stations,accounting for 70% of the world!

At the 2021 China Internet Conference held on July 13, Liu Liehong, the deputy minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, stated that China has built the world’s largest optical fiber network, 4G and 5G independent networking networks. At present, 5G has built 916,000 base stations, accounting for 70% of the world. The number of 5G connections has exceeded 365 million, accounting for 80% of the world.

At a conference in December last year, China Telecom executive Zhang Xin revealed that China had built 750,000 base stations, South Korea had 200,000 to 250,000, the United States had up to 100,000, Japan had no more than 10,000, and Germany had 30 thousand.
