Cold shrink tube is one kind of tubular cable accessory which use cold shrink technology.It carries functions of insulation, sealing and protection. Cold shrinkage technology is also called pre-expanding technology, because it shrinks by elastic retraction force under room temperature. The common materials of cold-shrink tubing include silicone rubber and ethylene-propylene rubber. The cold shrink tube has the advantages of small volume, convenient and rapid operation, no special tools required, wide application range and few product specifications. Compared with heat-shrinkable products, there is no need to use tools to heat, and it can be tightly sealed in the case of thermal expansion and contraction, there will be no gap due to thermal expansion and contraction.
